Case study

Chef Marc Fosh

Range launch

Michelin Star Chef Marc Fosh is, arguably, the UK’s most exciting culinary export.

For the chef’s Boutique Gastronomica in Palma, Mallorca, I sourced and developed a range of excellent cook’s essential products and conceptualised two complementary ranges to make a cohesive, differentiated retail portfolio.

To create the Cook’s Essentials range, I sourced rice, pastas, Arbequina olive oil, aged balsamic and flor de sal and worked through product testing with the team. Alongside this, I conceptualised a product range of Chef’s Creations to showcase the chef’s recipe creativity, and a range of super-premium products for luxury buyers.

For the Cook’s Essentials, I created a contemporary brand identity inspired by the chef’s iconic culinary style, and the shapes and colours of the products. To communicate his personal endorsement of the products, the chef’s image and signature were included on the front of the pack. To finish, I set the designs on a white backdrop reflective of the chef’s plating style.
